Adventure |

I don’t know if its because 

I’m trying to escape 

Or I’m trying to rest 

Or I’m trying to grow

What I do know is 

I want to go on an adventure

Even if it's just for a little while 

Maybe to the shops or a new city

Maybe I’ll live in a van or catch a cab to somewhere i’ve never been 

Maybe I just need to get off the couch and sit on the grass in my backyard

What I do know is 

I want to go on an adventure

I promise I won’t go alone,

You know,

in case I am trying to escape.
I promise I won’t over do my ‘to do’ list,

You know,

in case I need to rest.

What I do know is, 

I want to go on an adventure.

I’ll do something new, 

because I know, I want to grow 

I might be afraid,

I might lack wisdom,

But I do know this

God’s with me on my adventure
