Stop fighting |
Stop fighting your feelings,
telling them to leave.
You can’t change what’s happened,
some things you have to grieve.
You wish you could fix it,
go back and re mix it.
Say more words,
less words,
no words.
Breathe.
You can’t go back,
only forward.
So listen to your emotions,
acknowledge how you feel.
Write it down, cry it out,
speak it over a meal.
I know it’s painful and you feel weak,
but blessed are the meek
for they will inherit the earth.
